Hi! I'm Hiromi Yasuta, a HRIS & Data Analyst with a passion for data and processes. I am always looking for new challenges to grow from.
When I'm not working, you'll find me trying out new AI tools or trail walking. I believe great work comes from curiosity, collaboration, tea and coffee.
Worked on major data integration projects, including 2,500+ hourly workers and multiple M&A acquisitions for Canada and US, centralizing 186,000 data fields across Workday and Dayforce. Drove data cleanup initiatives, UAT tests, developed SOPs and process maps, leveraged VBA/Power Query/Office Script for reporting, data audit and error logging, and served as primary Workday SiteHR (System Admin) user.
Monthly reporting on headcount, position vacancy, turnover (attrition), and hiring using Excel and Power BI. Automated Workday ATS data loads into the TA Tracker via Excel VBA macros. Built the end-to-end Headcount Budget Tracker from scratch, collaborating with Finance and HRBPs for annual forecasting and budgeting. Ad hoc analysis such as workload pareto analysis for process improvement initiatives.
Led new logistics project launches and standardization (24 projects/year, exporting automotive parts from Japan to China/Thailand/UK/EU/US/Mexico/Brazil for Renault/Nissan customers). Reduced project launch costs by 1–5%, met all PPAP/ANPQP deadlines, improved efficiency saving 50H/year, and trained 60 people on logistics cost structure and Excel.
Promoted international logistics services to OEMs (Nissan, Renault, Mitsubishi) and tier suppliers. Created a sales pitch presentation adopted across seven global branches. Led multinational logistics projects across Japan/China/Thailand/UK/Russia, including overseas assignments. Automated sales profit analysis with Excel/VBA, saving 150H/year. Trained 200 users on a new in-house quotation system.
Managed orders for commercial refrigerators (import from Mexico to Japan for Walmart). Supervised domestic warehouse operations and led annual physical stock-take with ±3% accuracy.
Handled order processing and logistics for power tools/pumps/air starters (import from Singapore/China/US/UK to Japan, primarily for the marine engine industry). Planned pre-delivery inspections, coordinated compressor maintenance, processed warranty claims, and managed domestic warehouse inventory with ±3% accuracy.
Managed order processing and logistics for flowmeter OEM exports (Japan to US/Canada/Europe, semiconductor industry). Built an internal ordering/invoicing system using Excel/VBA saving 80H/year. Collaborated with design and distributors on product specs, translated user manuals, and interpreted at international exhibitions.
Prepared billing invoices and managed accounts receivable. Analyzed monthly sales data for flowmeters and level meters, improving the monthly reporting process and saving 25H/year.
Automated script to format and merge multiple data sources into an Excel Table.
Manual copy-pasting between Workday, Dayforce and Excel was time-consuming and error-prone. I built an Excel Office Script that semi-automatically format and merge data with minimal copy-pasting — reducing error logging time significantly.
